Rylie

It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that we share the passing of our beloved patient, Rylie Parrino.

Though her time here was far too short, her life was filled with love, kindness, and quiet strength that touched everyone who knew her.

Rylie was soft-spoken and gentle by nature, known by others for her warm heart and thoughtful spirit. She had a special way of making others feel comfortable and cared for, even when she was the one that needed the care.

She loved playing softball, where she was a utility player and would gladly jump in wherever she was needed. During her treatment, Rylie discovered her love for Legos and was so dedicated that she had a room in her home full of built masterpieces.

Over the last couple of years, Rylie became embedded and an integral member of our CHOC AYA group, where she made friends and provided loving support to others.

Rylie will be remembered for her kindness, her resilience, and the lasting impact that she had on everyone that knew her. We were so lucky to know Rylie and her family. She will forever be in our hearts. Rylie is forever with us!
