Julia Miller- “I want to support this mission because working with cancer patients has opened another part of me that I didn’t know existed. Seeing so many families having to watch a loved one suffer from a horrible disease is something no family should have to go through let alone pay for. I think this organization is incredible knowing how hard it is to grieve from a loss but also knowing how much financial burden is laying on top of them. I want to help raise awareness, money, and honor those who have lost a tough battle with all that I can!”
Madi Matsushima: “Experiencing the loss of family member or a close friend is one of the hardest things a person has to go through. I’ve experienced that loss first hand. Funerals can give a sense of closure. No kid deserves to have cancer let alone lose their battle with it. The last thing their family should be worrying about is affording to have a sense of closure. To be able to help in any way we can and take away some of the financial burden a funeral can have on a family, means that they can grieve and mourn the loss of their child without worrying about affording to do so.”
Christina Gonzalez- “I support Forever With Us because childhood cancer is a topic very close to my heart and it’s something I love to advocate for. Seeing the look on people’s faces when they tell me that they never knew what childhood cancer was before it happened to them or their child is something that will always stay with me. I’d love to see what I can do with FWU and how to make a difference in a new way by working with them”
Karly Siegler- “Having visited children in the hospital s well as seeing their families after they have lost a child or a sibling, I have always wanted to help make sure that their loved one can be remembered. I want to contribute and raise awareness for families that are going through hard times after losing a child. So, by helping to spread awareness and fundraising, we can help ensure that a family member is remembered, like they deserve.”
